We Will Never Know Why The Sky Is Blue

Looks like the GOOG will stop accepting new questions in Google Answers.

Now please understand that I am a GOOG long. However, I am also a single parent. Whenever my daughter has a homework question I can not answer, I tell her to GOOG it. Now, it seems, that my daughter will now fail in school, because the GOOG has decided to "reconsider their goals".

I really don't understand it! I know GOOG only hires people with degrees. How is my daughter supposed to get a degree, if she can't get some answers to some of the difficult questions that I can not answer?

From GOOG's website: "We're looking for the brightest minds in engineering, sales, advertising, business, marketing, product management, and finance to help us develop new technologies, new products and new media formats. Google hires exceptional people at every degree level: Bachelors, Masters and PhD. "

I think the real reason the GOOG has decided to stop this service is because too many people wanted the answer to these questions:

IS THAT GOOG'S REAL PLANE?

DOES SERGEY FEEL PRETTY?

HAS IT ALL GONE TO THEIR HEADS?

DO THEY REALLY HATE EVIL?

DOES SERGEY WEAR BOXERS OR BRIEFS?

Don't get me wrong here!

But I WANT ANSWERS damn it!

Had the little owl pic, some great owl facts...a link to your site.

*sigh*

See what I mean here? Time is money. Those freakin Answer people saved me a ton of money answering my questions, as well as saving me money on my car insurance!

What are you boys charging over there?

I can guarantee that I will not remember the wuyaSea.com website name...you'll need something better if you expect to remain in business. How about SchmoogleAnswers.com. Much more memorable!

Hi TradingGoddess,

Well, we did it!

Several dozen former Google Answers researchers now provide a paid answers service at http://uclue.com

We've been going less than two months and have a couple of hundred happy customers already - and the researchers are having a lot of fun "doing it our way".

Regards,
Roger Browne

Thanks for the link and update Roger!

I will run over and take a look.

Maybe I will find out the answer to this question my daughter asked me the other day:

What is the difference between linguine and fettucine?

LOL!
