Will this happen?
The more I "Twitter", the less I blog.
The less I blog, the more T.V. I watch.
The more T.V. I watch....the fatter I get.
This should be interesting...

Cool. I've added you as my friend (I guessed your name!). You can go to my page and reciprocate on the right hand side of the page, http://www.twitter.com/RichardTodd
"my, you look great!"
"thanks, I try to eat right, and blog a lot."
hmmm... I don't think you have anything to worry about. :-)
Richard,
What the heck are you talking about???
I was talking about the implication that blogging helps keep people from getting fat. It amused me, since I'd imagine blogging and watching TV aren't too different in terms of their overal fitness effects.
I'm going to eliminate my intraday updates to my blog because of Twitter ..... good or bad ?
Richard,
You burn more calories blogging than watching T.V.
And believe it or not, you burn more calories sleeping than you do watching T.V.
Hi Phileo!
So very nice to see you!
How is that beautiful baby doing?
As far as Twitter goes, I am having to wait ages for their website to load.
Are you having that problem?
It also seems to me, that this blog loads slower since I added the Twitter badge to it.
Bleah!
I want technology to make my life easier!!!
when I first started using twitter, it was dreamy... fast, and the AIM interface worked. That was just before its popularity exploded. Too bad it wasn't a public company, or I'd be rich rich rich.
Now, the website is sometimes very slow, and they have to redo their AIM interface to keep up with all the demand. As long as they can fix it in the next couple weeks, all will be well. If they can't get their act together, I bet someone else makes a better product. There's clearly demand for this idea.
So, if it's frustrating you, hold off on your twitsperiment and come back in a few weeks (or I'll let you know when the situation improves, if you want).
Depending on how the badge works, it can be slow. The badge I use (and most people) does not slow down the website, as far as I can tell, since it loads the updates in the background. If twitter is slow, you just don't get any updates.
Richard,
dreamy
exploded
very slow
in demand
Wow!
I completely forgot all about my frustration! Thank you! ;)
I do aim to please! ;-)
You'll have to teach me about this high-impact, fitness-inducing blogging style... I think that could take off in a big way. Stop jogging, put down those free weights, and 'bloggercise'! or, if set to music, jazzerblog (do they still have jazzercise? hmm)
Hard to describe twitter when you've been around for just a few hours or days. Now though it should be quite a bit easier to describe.
Warzabidul,
And how would you describe it?
