I really like the "Don't ever forget ... it could always suck more". hehe
But, that is something we all tend to forget! I remember when I had surgery on my foot and had to be on crutches for 6 weeks. My daughter was an infant and I had a new puppy right around that time. And I was so sick of being on crutches cuz "I couldn't do anything" like usual. And it was very frustrating and I did the "poor me" for a bit, I confess. Then one day, I was at the store and there was a guy in front of me who had crutches as well! And I slowly looked from the floor up and saw that his leg was amputated from the knee. My face got so hot and I was very ashamed at myself!
So, yes... I think we all forget that it could always be worse!

It is a beautifully quiet day in the office. Its nice when the phone isn't ringing off the wall. I adjusted my portfolio and feel good about that.

You probably already saw this but I will put it up anyway since PAET did show up on your blog recently.
TheStreet.com did a video interview with the CEO on March 1st. Like I said earlier...I like the CEO and his vision. I don't know his business model/metrics, but he does provide a little insight into what Paetec is about.
If you didn't see it and are still interested...check it out.
Of course I have to leave my disclaimer.......I don't own any right now and there isn't enough information for me at this point to invest in the company. (Woops wrong words "buy into the Stock")

Good words TG, I need to remember this sometimes.
But I need to share one thing I found. I was on crutches, then a cane for many months a few years ago.
Rehabbed my knee pretty good since then.
But TG, I am telling you, pull out the crutch or cane when you go to Lowe's or Home Depot. WOW, the service is SOOOO much better!!!!
J/K, I don't do that now. But I am tempted!

I will tell you this about Home Depot. I would never go there if I needed assistance. You wouldn't believe how many times customers have asked me if I worked there (they needed help in the garden section)!!! hehehe
That place sucks for customer service, and that is one thing that I strive for and look for in a company as well.
So... a big bleah to Home Depot until they can staff enough employees for the floor.

I would love to be an unpaid Intern. Keep up the nice work on this blog. I love coming in to work each day now and starting it off just checking your blog. I have to say though my batting average isn't very high....yet. I struck out on CMGI over the past two weeks. I have still yet to figure out what drives that one....other than the huge amount of cash they have and their commitment to make $1B in revenue. (Even with the loss of HP and Kodak) Who would of thought they'd get an analyst to jump on board....Wait, come to think of it, I think your friend James on Stockpickr.com highlighted it due to the Hedgefund buildup. Personally I read it wrong and felt the Hedgefund could be manipulating it.
At any rate I have to cut it short here. My mind is always in overdrive and I can tend to ramble when I start thinking.

Yes.. calls on TOT.. and they're doing well, but everything that I read about TOT, almost without exception, points to an increase in value in the very near future. The MMs anticipating the approach of options expiration next Friday will screw up the price action on many stocks this coming week, but that's okay for me.. I have April calls, not March. I would just like you to slip into something alluring and go visit the MMs to "persuade" them to let TOT run, as it should (dammit). I was going to ask my buddy Heidi Klum to do it, but why send a girl in to do a Goddess' job. Any and all help appreciated.
