Nasdaq stocks jumped from the gate and other indexes followed suit as a broad range of groups advanced on mixed volume.

The NYSE was up 0.6% the Nasdaq 0.9% at 10:57 a.m. ET. The S&P 500 added 0.6%, the Dow gained 0.3%. Volume was up firmly on the Nasdaq, lower on the NYSE -- the opposite of Friday's results.
