~What I Am Doing Right Now and Why I Am Doing It~

I am watching this...

because my good friend, Richard over at Move the Markets, has been telling me for ages to try it out. :)

Let's see what happens to me, shall we? :)

Pray, instead.

Nice!

It's one of the roads of great learning....especially when traveled alone, with adversity in tow.

This "New" common sense has been around for a few thousand years. Calling it "new" just goes to show how out of sorts we westerners have become.

Biotechsurfer said...

Common sense? Not so common, imo.

Jake,

Why would I pray and what would I pray for, pray tell?

Mr. BioTech!

I am so very glad to see you!!!

How have you been? Goodness! I was starting to get worried I had offended you in some way! :(

Thank you for your thoughts on this. I had mentioned earlier that all the negativity was "getting" to me, and Richard reminded me again about this, so I figured I would take a look at it. I did start reading a link he gave me a while back, but lost it and then sort of forgot about it.

Is it safe to assume you meditate as well then?

And again, I really am glad to see you drop by. :)

1) because it works

2) grace and peace.

TG,

I have been very busy with a private equity group (making acquisitions), but always glad to visit and enjoy your refreshing wit, wisdom and quality site. Thank you.
I meditate every day....helps center the mind.

Is everybody positioned for Armageddon? LOL.
My experience is that news gets bad at resistance and good at support. Quite a theory, eh? Take that with some lime and tequila. Hmmmmm......

Medical 'equipment' is on a tear. MDT is a good looker.
I am sure everybody has noticed the positive action in biotech, too.
Of course, good ole GOOG and EBAY are on buys also. What are the chances of a crash with those speculometers sporting increasingly well-defined biceps?

Take care TG; hope your Mom is comfortable.

Your regard for other’s feelings is what is wrong with this blog. What are there, 800 links to other sites on your blog? Get some balls (pun) and stop being a link whore (horrible word but if the glove fits). Take a position on the ones that you think will benefit your readership the most and hit delete on the rest. Would you rather have 250 acquaintances or 10 good friends? Looking at the list, well, never mind.

Trading Goddess said...

Jake,

1. I don't believe it does.

2. Thanks.

Trading Goddess said...

BioTech,

Please excuse me for a moment while I answer the person below you quickly.

Trading Goddess said...

Anon,

And you are? Can you not even type in a name while giving me "corrective criticism"?

First off, let me tell you that I do not just put anyone in the world on my blog/link list. I have had a ton of "link requests" that I have turned down because they do not interest me in some way or are, imo, not beneficial to my readers.

I have about 220 blogs that I know the people and I respect their opinion and experience.

I have many other links that I think are beneficial in some way to my readers as well as myself.

I also have links to fun and interesting things because, hey, this is my blog and I can do what I want.

Please note that I do not work for a large corporation and do not receive a salary for making my posts.

And believe me, even though I am a female, I have more balls than many men.

As far as "friends" go... what is it to you how many "good friends" I have?

Yes... I do have feelings for others, and my idea here is to help people make money and talk about stocks and "stuff". What is wrong with that? Many of my readers are new to investing as well as the stock market in general and there are many different trading/investing strategies. One style does not "fit all" and what is wrong with me providing resources to them?

Again I ask... "who are you?"

It's Monday... the last thing I remember, it was Friday night and I clicked "play" to watch that video.

Where am I? Did I drink NyQuil?

Yes, your blog, you can do what you want but insinuating that you are helping the many readers who are new to investing by listing 220 blogs is nice thinking on your part. If you really want to help the readers who are new to investing, then you need to address this is some way. As far as ones anonymity, you can consider me A Friend.

Mr. Dino,

mmmmmmmm! Aren't those kind of weekends simply wonderful? I trust you are now mmmmmmm very relaxed and ready for the exciting week ahead!

Good luck to you!

:)

Dear "A Friend",

I call you friend if I call you friend. No one forces that on me.

Now... I truly am not understanding what your peeve is about.

How long have you been a reader of my blog? Are you aware of my own "trading style"?

Seriously, what do you suggest for "If you really want to help the readers who are new to investing, then you need to address this is some way." ??

And again I ask... who are you? Trader? Investor? Blogger? Reader? And what is your own experience in the stock market?

I look forward to your answers.

“A Friend” was a play on a Michael Douglas movie. What I am trying tell you is that your blogging works but your link to 220 blogs is akin to working at a very messy desk. Where do you expect one to start? Obviously alphabetically. I think, strike that, I know that your list of 220 is of little help to anyone. Believe in something or in this case list far less blogs or provide better organization for your readers. The last time I went to the reference desk at the library, the librarian did not set me loose on an entire section of books, rather she recommended a few. Your latest post expresses disappointment. I have a theory but you are more curious about my identity which serves no purpose to further this discussion. Signed a friend.

Trading Goddess said...

LOL!

I am actually enjoying your wit. "Obviously alphabetically"! HAHAHAHA

Silly you. I am not at a messy desk at all. I think we may just organize our things differently.

As far as your kind librarian goes, I too recommend things or set people in the direction I feel they should go when they ask me. Is there something I can help you with?

And yes, I do believe in something. That is, you can not make any money in the stock market if you are not in the stock market at all.

The reason I question "who" you are is that maybe that would help me to better understand your confusion as to my blog "setup".

Stay Anon for now.

And now I will ask you this... are you not finding what you are looking for? And what is it that you are looking for that you are not finding?

I would love to be able to direct you somewhere.

hehe

I have had a tremendous amount of work related travel as of late and spent some time on your blog catching up this weekend. It appears that a common theme of yours is that you are here to help the beginners and in my catching up I noticed that you referred one or more times in the last month or so to your blog roll which I presume would have left a beginner slightly dumber out of sheer befuddlement than he or she had been before asking for guidance. As for me, I enjoy your blog but thus far, and I hope you do not take offense to this, it is an amusement for me and because it is manageable to keep up with on a bi-weekly basis.

biotech – Surprising comment coming from someone who uses “biotech” as part of an online identity. There is always a solution. We may not know it now, or you may not like the answer or as science usually proves out, there may be another solution down the road but there is always a solution.

biotechsurfer said...

Anon, that is EXACTLY what you were supposed to say, lol. You are already on the road towards self prescription. Ah yes, the power of reverse psychology....

Now, go and do more of the same, if you like, i.e., criticism and righteous indignation. That is your role in life and you should not upset the delicate balance of things. Look in the mirror and repeat:"I am always right."

Peace Out.

I tend to think that I see possibilities. If I am right one out of 10 times, usually I come out ahead while others like yourself probably think I am a head. :-)

Trading Goddess said...

Anon,

Amusement?

*stamps foot*

Amusement?

lol!

Look you, I am not sure why you would so carefully follow me if I am just an amusement. However, you would have noticed that many times I specified particular links for a person to go to.

Again - I really don't understand what your fuss is about???

Is my blog entitled "Investing for Dummies"? No. It is not.

I am through with this discussion. Go back to all your work related travel, while I go sip a cold KO and rum.

Off with ya!

BioTech,

I thank you for your kind words about my mom.

It is appreciated.

Dang it all! I was gonna buy SGMO yesterday and today it is up 10%. lol!
