I have learnt a lot from this website... i have a question.. what does this indicate?
When you say up in volume but down in price is that some sort of bullish indicator? If I have been building a position on YGE would this be a good time to add some more?
Thank you for your comments and question. It is very much appreciated! It would be really terrific if next time you comment, you could just type in a name or "handle". It helps me keep track of everyone around here. :)
This post is a reminder that it is a good thing to watch the volume when a stock price is down. When the stock is down in price and on large volume (the volume is up), then it generally means that institutions are selling and you might want to as well.
If the stock is down in price and on light volume, then it is a good time to add shares, imo.

I hope this helps. Good luck! :)
That makes sense. I am long YGE. Nice to know (from one of your other posts) that you are long as well.
Considering AAPL as an earnings play (buy now and sell on earnings hype build up). Same story for MSFT but will hold post earnings.
Hello again!
Yes, YGE was a fairly new addition for me. :)
I am still long and holding AAPL.
I am still long and holding MSFT - I see this moving more toward the end of 2008 - so for me, this is a long long. hehe
I wish you luck. Happy inevesting to you!
