Wow, time sure flies by, I can't believe it's been 5 months since I took a hiatus from blogging. Heck, some of you probably don't even remember who I am, so I'm taking this time to reintroduce myself. I've been know as "PW" of PusuingWealth.com. I've decided from now on I'm just going to go by Travis (my real name). It makes my life a lot less complicated.
I've been gone for a number of reasons, but the most important one is that my wife is pregnant with our first child. It's a big head boy just like me. Gosh! Who knew pregnant woman slept so much. Seriously, I've been like super husband for the last few months. Cleaning, washing clothes, cutting the grass, running errands, etc. etc. I even put on my Betty Crocker hat and became Mr. Betty Crocker and cooked all the family meals. Needless to say blogging fell further and further down the list. Sorry, family before friends.
However, I did miss you guys and gals. I didn't realize how much I loved (how much I was addicted to) trading until I took my hiatus. It's been so long since I posted here I felt the need to ask Queen TG was it okay for me to keep posting here. She even made me recite her rules to her:
No full blown porn, swearing to a minimum and no all and out promoting of your blog…A link to your blog at the end of your posts is ok of course.
Nah I'm just teasing. So what have I missed since I've been gone? I heard the Dow is clawing its way back up to positive territory. I haven't been scanning my charts, but I did a trade review on GE, IBM, and GS for a few friends and I realized I missed out on some good profit. Oh well, you win some you lose some.
Tomorrow is my birthday so I'm taking a break to do some vision casting. I write down what kind of man I want to be a year from now, seal it up in an envelope, and forget about it. Next year I'll open it up to see just how much of a liar I really am :)
Here's a little economic trivia to exercise your brain until I post again. Here are the things that happened the year I was born…
Inflation continued to be a problem around the world
Year end close of the Dow was 1004
Year end inflation rate was 5.75%
Cost of a gallon of gas was $0.59
Year end interest rate set by the Federal Reserve was 6.25%
Apple computer was formed by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak
First laser printer was introduced by IBM
Jimmy Carter defeats Gerald Ford in the presidential election
So what year was I born?
Cheers, Travis… (the artist) formally known as PW :)

You were born in 1923. What did i win for the correct answer?
Darn it Donald - you stole my guess!
LOL!
Funny thing - I didn't even have to spendtime figuring out any of the clues once I saw that Travis is an AppleBoomer!
HAHAHA!
1977
Glad to see you back and Happy Birthday as well!
Thanks for responding. I was born in 1976.
If I'm not mistaken TG, Apple was formed in 76 but the first computer wasn't sold until 77.
I could be wrong, but that's what my sheet said.
Travis,
You are correct about Apple being fomed in 1976, which I will blame on my nails being too long to type correctly.
heh
You have many years ahead of you - I wish you all the best!
